"¡Absolutamente impresionante! El Rolex Daytona Cosmograph superó mis expectativas. La esfera de oro amarillo es elegante y los detalles en blanco le dan un toque moderno."
Rosé-colour dial
A watchmaking technique
The diamonds on this dial are set in gold imitation. Numerous dials in the Oyster Perpetual range have beautiful light reflections thanks to the sunray coating. Expert brushing techniques are used to achieve it, resulting in grooves that radiate outward from the dial’s center. Every etching has light that is uniformly diffused, giving the piece a distinctive, delicate glow that changes with wrist position. Following the completion of the sunray finish, electroplating or physical vapor deposition are used to apply the dial color. The dial is finished with a thin layer of varnish.
Diamond-set bezel
A sparkling symphony
Similar to artists, gem-setters meticulously sculpt the priceless metal to precisely form the seat that each gemstone will be correctly set in. The stone is carefully positioned and aligned with the others using a jeweler’s talent and skill, and it is then securely fastened in its platinum or gold imitation setting. In addition to the inherent beauty of the stones, a number of other factors enhance the beauty of Rolex gem-setting, including the intricate finishing of the metalwork, the regularity, strength, and proportions of the setting, as well as the exact alignment of the height, orientation, and position of the gems. A dazzling symphony that will accentuate the watch and charm the owner.
The President bracelet
The ultimate refinement
Advanced high technology is used in the creation, development, and manufacturing of Rolex bracelets and clasps, as well as in the rigorous testing that goes into them. Additionally, aesthetic controls by the human eye ensure flawless beauty, just like with all the watch’s components. In 1956, the semi-circular three-piece links of the President bracelet were designed for the debut of the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date. It is always constructed of carefully chosen precious metals and epitomizes comfort and refinement.
